Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Nike Revolution 4 Women's Running Shoe by Leon Johnsson

These are NOT running shoes.

I bought these shoes to use as summer running shoes. I have a solid pair of La Sportiva shoes that I use for winter/trail running, but I needed a lightweight pair for the warmer months. To be honest I was convinced to buy their combination of great price and good reviews. At the time I was running about 20 miles a week and doing fine. A month and a half after switching to these shoes, I developed severe hip bursitis while running and couldn't run for two months! I spent the summer in sports and am still struggling with residual pain in my hip flexors, but at least I can walk again. I did A LOT more research on shoes and bought a pair of Saucony Ride ISOs for hip support. I love my Sauconys and they don't cost much more than these Nikes. If you just want cheap sneakers that look great when you're running errands at the weekend, these Nikes are probably for you. BUT I strongly recommend NOT to buy them as actual running shoes. Your hips will thank you!

Pros
  • SOFT FOAM OUTSOLE: The Nike Revolution 4 Women's Athletic Shoe is made from soft, injected Phylon (IP) foam for lightweight, responsive cushioning, with horizontal ribs built into the foam for added responsiveness.
Cons
  • Not bad but...
