For my use as a driver, this tire's advertised purpose of "for light off-road" is spot on. I live in the city 90% of the time, but when the weather is nice, my friends and I enjoy spending the weekend camping. We don't go hiking into the bogs, but the tires should be able to handle dirt or gravel roads as well as asphalt. At the end of April, when there were still puddles in some spots, I changed our LR and was able to quickly assess the tire's stability and handling in the wet conditions. There was no aquaplaning, and the brakes worked perfectly. As an added bonus. These features are crucial for "combined" applications, while other manufacturers have issues with aquaplaning. The noise level of my automobile is satisfactory, but the previous tires were substantially noisier, so I can also give the Dueler 001 high marks for its quiet operation. I'm crossing my fingers that the model's durability will live up to my expectations so that I can keep using it for as long as possible.
