I installed a set of these and non-original coil springs on a Mercury Grand Marquis. They replaced automatic air spring assembly. This build is known to cost $$$$$ EXPENSIVE to fix. A quality shop installed the whole thing for $250. MONEY MUST BE SPENT. We constantly tow a trailer and the load changes. This device allows you to adjust the height of the tail and the rigidity of the ride. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A note. Another option is air shock absorbers. I used them for 30 years and finally gave them up in favor of this unit and a good quality standard shock absorber set. Air shocks are a compromise, and shock action has never felt better than the best traditional shocks. I am much happier with this device.
