I was concerned by the reviews that said the holes were misaligned. I still received them as a surprise, the holes didn't match, but I didn't want to send them back. I used holes next to the screw holes with washer. The disc should most likely not be removed from the freewheel mount and used separately. Which I did, and most likely the same has happened to others. Refresh Pads is not long, maybe a month. For that reason alone, I'm taking my star back. I can only speak for BB8 pads. Also, BB8 pads are harder to buy. My advice is don't get the ones that require BB8 pads. I ended up giving them too much trouble by changing or adjusting the pads every month.
