DO NOT BUY - Parts and Components

I read the reviews and figured that either someone didn't know how to install them or they stumbled upon an inferior batch. The product photos were correct except for the actual disc. The holes only align with half of the hub holes, making them unusable. It comes with what looks like screw adapters on the rear hubs, but the holes in them are the same. I didn't even check the calipers to make sure they fit. I ordered a more expensive kit from another company hoping I wouldn't have any moreโ€ฆ

Pros
  • F160 Front Brake: (Also called F160/R140) Fits 160mm rotor when front mounted, fits 140mm rotor when rear mounted. R160 Rear Brake: (Also called F180/R160) Fits 180mm disc when front mounted and 160mm disc when rear mounted.
Cons
  • Good but not great

No worries best when cycling

I was concerned by the reviews that said the holes were misaligned. I still received them as a surprise, the holes didn't match, but I didn't want to send them back. I used holes next to the screw holes with washer. The disc should most likely not be removed from the freewheel mount and used separately. Which I did, and most likely the same has happened to others. Refresh Pads is not long, maybe a month. For that reason alone, I'm taking my star back. I can only speak for BB8 pads. Also, BB8โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Position: front/rear. F-160mm/R-140mm. F-180mm/R-160mm. Kit includes ROTOR MOUNTING SCREWS
Cons
  • Almost OK

Better than my Hayes So1e Hydraulic Brakes

Purchased to replace problematic Hayes So1e Hydraulic Brakes. Once installed and adjusted, they worked just as well, a little better, and didn't have to worry about brake fluid problems. The package arrived without instructions. Luckily I have mechanical aptitude and was able to figure out the setup and adjustments. My bike is an old Gary Fisher Tassajara. I had to use spacers to attach the brake pads to the frame. Otherwise, the discs will rub against the brackets that hold the pads. The brake
