The quality is good, the print is bad

I bought this tile to cover the old linoleum in the bathroom I am renovating. Firstly, the tiles are generally of a very high quality. They are thick, adhere well (at the same time they can be moved without damaging the underlying parts) and the print is nice. Unfortunately, printing is also a problem. The tiles are offset about 1/8" to 1/4" making it almost impossible to align the pattern correctly. This particular template is so intricate and detailed that it is unforgiving of alignment issues. It also cannot be rotated to find the best match because the pattern works in a special way. I spent hours getting it to work and even cut off some of the tiles with a rotary paper cutter. Eventually I gave up and decided to order another sample but from the same company because the quality of the tiles is so good. I hope I can decently salvage enough parts of this pattern to use in the half bath. If not, I'm sure I can reassign them to another project. Overall I would definitely recommend buying this brand of tiles but please save yourself the headache and choose a more forgiving pattern. Edit: Having ordered another print, I would like to comment on the differences between them. The new print I chose is much easier to align, and any offset is so small it's negligible. BUT the new tile is much thinner, much more brittle and doesn't stick. The quality of the old tile (which comes with this review) is MUCH better than the new tile I bought. While I generally don't mind another new tile and being able to get it to work, I'm very disappointed with the quality. If you can make THIS pattern work for you, you will be much happier with the quality of your floor.
