Review on 25 Pack of 7"x7/8" BHA Zirconia Resin Fiber Grinding and Sanding Discs with 24 Grit for Improved SEO by Will Ridpath

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They arrived in good condition (flat) and worked well.

The large orange shop has run out of coarse 7-inch fiber discs, and the price and condition of the shop are poor. These discs are the best abrasive, cost less money and were in excellent condition. The plastic shrink wrap kept the discs fairly flat, which was essential for the way I use them. I use them on a 5" Makita disc sander for sanding and blending painted wood on houses. The oversized disc flexes to scrape off old paint. This requires that the discs are not warped or warped, and I must carefully balance the disc when I place it on the mill. It's dangerous and I don't recommend it for a beginner, but I learned how to prep and paint like a pro with 7" disc sanders, and then when the 5" came out we switched to a lighter one Tool with more flexibility due to small 5 "plate. When a disc gets stuck between two boards, especially when sanding cornices at home, the wrist becomes hell and the discs gouge the skin. We have always used AO in the past, but I chose zirconia. It lasted at least as long as the AO discs. A few years ago I cut two 8" squares out of chipboard and drilled a large hole in the center for a long 1/2" x 20 screw. I store my discs between the boards, threading the bolt and sliding a wing nut over it to secure the discs lay flat for storage. This prevents discs from being curled by moisture or heat and allows them to perform better than new ones. My order was for 24 grain discs but if I need others I will order again.
