Big! Got this for a biting dog getting its claws clipped

Okay, that's a really unorthodox review. I understand these are welding gloves. As far as I know, they are for heat resistance. But I bought them because of the great price and deal. These are Kevlar lined gloves designed to keep the heat out. Well, Kevlar is also used as cut protection. And at this price point, genuine leather gloves with a Kevlar lining are no problem for whatever you need them for. In my case I was looking for dog bite protection gloves. I looked at the prices of existing gloves sold for this purpose and then looked for other Kevlar lined gloves to see if I could find them cheaper. These were cheaper. And also. it's better now that i have it. You are tall. I mean REALLY big. Definitely a man's large hand size. A woman wearing this is like wearing kitchen gloves. You can probably use them as oven mitts to protect your hands from sideburns, which isn't a bad idea. They're up to my elbow. I bought these for my husband to hold my dog while I clip his nails. No amount of training, love, attention, petting, desensitization has ever stopped him from biting when someone does. The muzzle doesn't work, no muzzle was made to keep him in it. The barber who used to cut his nails no longer refuses to do so. He bites when his nails are clipped. Period. Now every time (otherwise he's a TOTAL angel). I bought them for my husband because he can't resist being bitten. It works out! The glove has room for padded sleeves if needed (sleeves are NOT padded). So this is not a useful overview for welding or temperature. But these gloves have another use. As this is my first review I wanted to mention that I found these while looking for anti bite gloves at Revain and as they probably had no reviews the price was GREAT and I got hold of them and they are just what i needed! Ha! Get them before the price goes up!
