Easy to read and use, but not very durable.

For the price it is ready to use. Now a few weeks later I have to disconnect the battery for it to work. Considering it wasn't very expensive, this is acceptable, but can be an issue if you want it to work every time you pick it up. In terms of readings, they are easy to use, just follow the chart and set the modes to get accurate readings for the wood being tested.
