People PLEASE READ! I am 52 years old and prior to this product I thought I had been blessed with healthy, beautiful, mermaid like hair that took me YEARS to finally grow back. It literally looked the BEST and was the LONGEST of my entire life. I first bought this in July 2020 and since my dermatologist only recommended washing my hair every few weeks (which has definitely helped with its health and length) I've probably only used this a total of 6 times - and I have loved it - until the hairballs started falling out in September 2020. And of course, since I'm so careful about what I put on my hair and body, I didn't understand at first what was causing this sudden, drastic hair loss and I thought it was, IDK, thyroid issues. ? Anemia? I just couldn't figure it out and drove first my elementary school and then my dermatologist MAD with my desperation to get him to STOP and find out why this happened. I've had very extensive lab work done several times, researched and purchased almost every hair supplement, oil, and treatment you didn't even know existed, and even started taking a well-known prescription drug (which I'm pretty sure what my doctor gave me just to shut me up!) and yet, drop by drop, I kept losing hair amounting to over a FOOT! Then when I reordered this product I noticed that the date of my first purchase of this product was exactly the same when I started seeing my hair everywhere except on my head. I then went back to my Revain order history, waaayyy and there was nothing else for my hair that could have caused it - oh and yes I kept using it because I didn't know anything up to that point. When I finally got the connection, I read the reviews and was devastated (not to mention furious!) to realize that I had not only done this to myself, but after calling a company I met trusted for a long time and asked for certainty - you said so. contains no parabens, sulfates or anything "unsafe" - and if I hadn't made just a small addition to my usual regimen, I'd still have the crown of glory I was so proud of and invested so much time in have to acquire them. Now I can only hope and pray that it will eventually go back to its original state and that the rest of you, fooled by the rave reviews, stop using this toxic GARBAGE before it's too late. I can't tell you how heartbreaking it is to look in the mirror — and my shower, my comb, and just about any dark surface — and see my hair the state it is. I really hope this helps someone else and that this nightmare in a bottle will be discontinued as soon as possible. 💔💔💔
