Excellent natural hair brush. I scrubbed my daughters off the white leather seats. Of course, a few brush hairs are BROKEN OFF. But I had more hair of hers on my hairbrush than on the seats! Strange smell? Not mine. Now for the brush. Did a great job. Have a bucket of clean water, microfiber clothing, and cleaning supplies ready. Spray, scrub, wipe and rinse both brush and clothes. I dipped the brush in the water, shook it off, and continued. Cleansed my skin much better than expected. Upgrade 2 Standard Poodles and a Cain Corso and we'll see what the brush is made of. Long strands of horsehair are tied together with a metal clasp surrounded by molded plastic. I'll just iron out the missing parts and keep using.
