Review on 🍫 NOW Sports Keto Protein with MCT Powder: High Protein & MCT Fuel, Chocolate, 1 lb. by Anthony Chacon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good taste and solubility; Poor Packaging

Now Sports Ketoprotein with MCTs (coconut derived fats) comes in chocolate in a very poor 'refillable bag' that is unavailable. I either have to put it in another container entirely or find a clip long enough to tie it on so it stays fresh long enough. If they put it in a bag, which I prefer to wasteful, bulky plastic jars, it has to be something I can seal securely. Written "packaged in USA". This doesn't necessarily mean it's 'made' in the US or 'domestically sourced'. As of this writing, you get Β£1 for $28, which equates to 14 servings depending on the pack. It's technically keto-friendly because it's sweetened with approved stevia and monk fruit substitutes and is low in carbs. However, this contains 5g of carbs, or 4 net carbs (-1g of fiber) per 1/3 cup serving. I'm speaking technically because those on a "more restrictive" diet might scoff at 4g net carbs since their daily intake is 20g. But for those who are low carb, low sugar, etc., that's fine. I'm aiming for 50-60 net carbs per day as this meets my wellness needs so this blend fits into my low carb lifestyle Calories are a bit higher than I would expect from something that only gives me 11g of protein I have similar shake- Used supplements and they offer 2x more protein for the amount of calories there is nothing wrong with that I'm just saying I suspect it has more to do with the presence of MCT which is a much hyped fad but still one out Coconut derived nutritional compound (Medium Chain Triglycerides) So as expected it also has 13g fat Yes you will smell some of the coconuts in this blend along with a strong chocolate scent hen. This powder can be added to your favorite milk or milk alternative, or to water, smoothie bowls and the like; shake or mix and it will (mostly) dissolve. There isn't a significant amount of swimmers or anything like that. Flavor and solubility are good but not outstanding. But overall I am happy with the usage and overall quality of this supplement. I'm glad they didn't screw up with fillers like maltodextrin which is unfortunately very common in supplements and not ideal for those trying to control blood sugar and weight.
