Review on ACDelco 335 1040 Professional Alternator by Brandon Woodson

Base model 1992 Chevrolet Caprice sedan with 5.0 V8. (without police/taxi package). The part was purchased to replace a generator that failed more than 100 miles from home. (sounded like rocks and a cat in a blender). Ordered this and paid extra for overnight delivery. Took the car to a trusted mechanic. When I started the car the battery light was on. The engine began to stall and run rough. I had to rev the engine to keep it running. The interior lights flicker. The force will "splash" and then fall. When the mechanic ordered a replacement and installed it (removed this one), all of the above issues were gone. AVOID AVOID AVOID this seller. This resulted in a multi-day travel struggle and wasted productivity and money.
