Great idea, not bad overall but seems a bit fragile

Edit to update: The cooker was working fine after the crash mentioned below. It worked well enough, I bought a 6 liter instant pot to make preparing recipes from the various cookbooks that these devices have easier. Most appear to be aimed at 6-litre sizes. My only extra tip is maybe consider the 6 liter size if you want to make some of these recipes, otherwise 4 quarters will do for 1-2 people, maybe 4 people for one serving each, with some leftover The "Instant Pot DUO Plus 3 Qt 9-in-1 Multi-Function Programmable Pressure Cooker" delivered 05/27/2019 via Revain from Stelli Products stopped working temporarily this morning 07/13/2019, but then worked again. May be. The idea of an electric pressure cooker paired with a slow cooker and another slow cooker is great. I have used pressure cookers (Fagor) for many years, as well as many different slow cookers and rice cookers. With a programmed pressure cooker like a rice cooker and slow cooker, you no longer have to worry about overcooking when cooking under pressure. minuses. Pros: The uncoated stainless steel inner pot eliminates the adverse effects of non-stick coating and is easy to clean without worrying too much about damage. Being able to have multiple pot liners ready made is a plus, although I haven't. , I plan. It seems to work very well when it works. Space Saving & Versatile: It doesn't take up space on the stovetop and can be used on any flat surface anywhere the power cord can reach. So when you cook a few dishes, there is extra space on the stove if you need it, and the oven can work elsewhere, even in another room. Cons: Condensation cup pops out too easily. all corners and kr Anna, that could have been done better. It also looks a bit delicate. This morning I filled it with a chili recipe, set it to slow cook for 8 hours, it started but then the screen went blank. When mixing the recipe in the pot, a little spilled over the rim and about 1/2 teaspoon of liquid got between the pot and the main base of the stovetop. I unplugged, removed the liner and wiped it down with a damp towel and also scrubbed the main pot as best I could with a damp kitchen towel. The pot caught fire, seemed to catch fire, and then went out. After that, it didn't light up or start up until about half an hour later, just before I emailed Instant Brands asking for repairs. Now it lights up so I'll use it again the next day and see if it works. But for now the chili is in my 10 year old Panasonic SR-TMB10 rice cooker/slow cooker, which has worked flawlessly since I bought it from Revain in April 2009. Suggestions and tips for use: Mix recipes outside the stove and put them in the inner pot before placing the inner pot in the bottom of the stove to avoid spilled liquid getting into the bottom of the main cooker. The middle setting didn't work for me even after over 6 hours. For quick cooking beef, e.g. B. in stews, the normal setting, as indicated in the recipe booklet. It turned out to be a very nice and tender stew. Suggestions for fast food makers: The design at the junction of inner and outer pot needs to be improved to better avoid leakage inside. There is splashing. Access to base cleaning both inside and around the rim area could also be improved. IMHO a good idea would be to better store the included cookware both on and in the stove. See for example the rice cooker mentioned above and others. I have enough clutter in my kitchen drawers and it's too easy to lose separately stored parts or accessories. The condensate collector needs to be more securely attached to the cooker, there are many better examples of rice cooker design from many sources.
