Great embroidery hoop for quilting!
Patch Sandwich is definitely easier to work with than a traditional hoop. The strips of tape you need to attach to the edge are in centimeters, not inches. I'm using them as a guide, but since you're wearing them, they're not necessarily accurate. It doesn't matter, but why aren't the dimensions engraved on the surface of the ring? For $200 plus this should be a part of it! Note that when working with a patchwork quilt you still need to carefully adjust the frames as they can move. I check a few points to make sure they are straight/level and the ceiling is level.
