I had many doubts about robot vacuum cleaners. Basically everyone who does not use any form of display. Since they're still classified as military gear, I tried to find the smartest dumb one I could find. In about a week he completed three different floors of our townhouse (700 feet per floor). A carpet, two mix of plaid and plaid. Here we are: Pros: This one has been a brilliant jerk so far. This enables him to map out the entire area fairly accurately, although it is not mapped. We live in a typical rectangular townhouse. We're easy with clutter, but we're not minimalists either, so there's an obstacle course to maneuver. I carry it to different floors on different days, and it manages to get from end to end, room to room, without falling down the stairs, very well. The suction power is very good. Despite regular human vacuuming, he found plenty of new dirt. I suppose it's like brushing your teeth now if manual is fine, but the electric timing will only take the effort needed to really suck up the dirt. I've only had to save a few times, and making some small adjustments to our space reduced them even further. Just as you marvel at how Christmas lights get tangled, you'll be amazed at how easily they can slip into a space they barely fit. However, he manages to find a way out in time. - Looks like the battery is replaceable. For me it was important. The battery charges fairly quickly. Cons: Battery life is a bit short. On a carpeted floor (medium sized home plush) 60 minutes seems to be the limit. On hardwood/mixed, 90 minutes isn't a problem, but it's almost empty. - The biggest complaint is the dirt pan. On the one hand, it's a bit small. That would be forgivable, but the app doesn't tell you when it's full. There is a light in the device and it knows when it is full. For some reason, the last mile of technology to warn you isn't quite there yet. It will tell you it's stuck, done, etc. but not full. What's worse is a lot of extra work with worse results when fully loaded. It would be better to have an alarm and even have the option to pause until it runs out. There were issues with bump/drop sensors. We have a rug with a 1/4" woven edge. Not only does it bounce off it most of the time (bounces up there if it has momentum), but I had to rescue it when it left the rug. a typical hardware store rug, so I wasn't expecting to be treated like a knitted barrier around a coffee table. Worse, those Ikea chairs with 1/2" wood sheeting underfoot? Do people like Edmund Hillary climb. As much as I like it overall, it's better to buy it on sale i think their entire line is premium priced sort of like getting a lexus bot it's worth choosing 891 instead of 890 to save money or was it for us differences from what i understand there is no remote control If you have a phone and wifi at home or you can walk across the room and press a button to start it you can save quite a bit of money.
