We have a long-legged English Setter Buddy and Golden Bonnie. At 13, Bonnie is almost perfect, but Buddy is 3 and far from it. Our yard is too big for an invisible or visible fence and I wanted to be able to take Buddy outside while I work in the garden. This connection cable is perfect for him. I don't leave him unattended and he wears a soft harness. Sometimes the chicken gets too close and Buddy takes off like a rocket - once he cut the end of the rope. Bonnie looked at me and rolled her eyes. Cable withstands his antics. I have one for the front yard and one for the back yard. It was a good buy and if my son hits it with a lawn mower again I will be buying another.
