Even before the customer has tried the product, the first encounter with the product takes place in the packaging. If your cake is wrapped in ugly cellophane (which can be applied in itself) the packaging will look sloppy and reflect poorly on your business. The clamshell container is particularly presentable, but this box really takes over (no pun intended). A decorative cut-out on the top window frames the cakes beautifully; it is very professional and looks wonderful. In addition, the boxes can be folded up perfectly; Each is strong enough to be folded without collapsing under the weight of the cake above. It is important to note that the boxes are NOT waterproof. The butter from a pie crust touching the sides seeps through the sides of the box and this is visible from the outside. It's important to line the bottom of the box with a sheet of wax paper and support the bottom when carrying the cake in the box. However, I'm giving it five stars because the boxes look great; I like brown, it looks much more attractive than the standard white. They are easy to assemble and their size is perfect for a 9 inch cake.
