Fits true to size. Just follow the sizing instructions and you can't go wrong. I use mine as a wakeboard helmet. One area of improvement for the future model will be the protection it offers. It's a little unconvincing. I have no problem with it since I use it in water. But if you land on a hard surface, for example, like skateboarding or cycling, it may not offer as much protection as other harder helmets. Very customizable look, I put stickers on mine.
