We bought 3 of these, 1 was for a truck that said it had a pump failure. Installed and put out no more pressure than the previous 30psi pump, bought a new much more expensive Ford pump, made 62psi as soon as you turn the key. Thought a pump was just junk. We left two others. Had another truck recently that had the pump running and running with low fuel pressure that only idled at 20-30psi, installed another of these pumps and yesterday it was up to 40psi, today the truck can't run anymore. only 20-30psi. Proceed to install the 3rd "3 of 3 pumps here" and their DOA does not draw power, spin, hum or anything, has been tested and verified outside of the case, just plugged into the power jack. Now return the original pump again and wait again for $320 Ford parts for the pump and housing together, the only way they sold it but I'd bet it will be right after that is working. These things are rubbish, most people 'claim' that this solved their problem, probably have no idea what their low fuel pressure readings really are, and just assume the truck is starting properly or 'the pump' at all runs". This is a surefire way to damage the very expensive low pressure fuel injectors on those imported junk pumps.
