Actually not as thin as it looks in the photos

This concerns the 22mm jack: I originally bought this jack because it is very thin walled when you remove the white outer protective plastic piece. Since I only needed it for a one-time use to remove a particular bolt (i.e. it's okay if the head breaks during use), I wasn't overly concerned about its strength. I was more concerned about finding an outlet with very thin walls. Judging by the photo, if you remove the white part, the metal socket turned out to have ultra-thin walls. No, guess again! That. It might help protect the face but it would be helpful if they mentioned something about different diameters or something. I'm attaching some photos showing the exact size without the white protective piece as I think more than one person might think they can remove it and get a super slim socket for limited use. Excluding the white part, the outer diameter of the socket walls is 30.12 mm. With the white part, it has a diameter of 32.45 mm. Everything is fine and the nest seems to be pretty well made overall. But at least for my application I needed something like 29.0mm. And if the white part didn't have a chic little hem at the front, this rosette would probably suit me. You can decide for yourself and use my measurements if for some reason you are looking for something extra thin.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost never
