I bought these pads as my dogs suffered greatly from the lavender scented Hartz pads. March. These are the best pads we have used so far. I adopted my dogs about 4 or 5 months ago. We use about 2 or 3 pads a day. I have 2 chihuahuas that live only indoors because one is severely allergic to plants and trees. It's important to me to have good pads for them because we rely on them every day. These pads are quilted, which I've learned the hard way is very, very important. This means my 4 lb and 5 lb dogs don't slip when in a medium squat. The top layer of the gasket is attached to the bottom layers. These pads also allow moisture to evaporate quickly, so a few repeated rides on the pad won't leave them with wet paws or discourage them from repeated use. They also prevent liquid from spilling over the edges. For some reason one of my babes loves to pee in the corners. This is sometimes a problem with other seals, but these seals rarely caused minimal leakage. I hope the manufacturer doesn't change these pads, they are the best we've tried. I plan to buy them again. The only downside is that they are a bit more expensive, but that's not a big problem. It's worth it for me as I can touch used pads with my bare hands and not worry about getting dirty. I save disposable gloves.
