Perfect for what I need!
I bought this unit to use as a vacation rental in a townhouse. I know my kids and don't want to worry about stairs. I put it at the bottom of the stairs during the day and at the top at night. I just adjusted it a bit each time I moved it. It's solid, but I wouldn't quite trust it at the top of the stairs. That's good if you don't have to move it constantly. We just jumped over it.
