I tried this on a 2016 Camaro with a Bose audio system, the receiver only has a digital output so you can only use the amplifier's speaker outputs. The problem is that the factory amplifier mutes the output of the speaker connected to the module when it is turned on, so the module will not turn on with the remote control and you will have no sound on the speaker. I tried disconnecting the speaker so only the module was connected to the factory amp output but I had the same result, I tried different speakers just to be sure but got the same results. If you connect the cable while the amplifier is already on, the module will pick up the speaker signal and activate the remote control cable correctly, but after turning the amplifier off and on again, the speaker output will be disabled and therefore the module will not turn on. remote control never again. It seems to me that the module triggers some kind of protection in the factory amplifier, which is very disappointing.
