We cannot use it, hence the mediocre rating. It could work well, but we'll never know. The buttons are pretty hard to press, which is annoying, but what struck me was that due to the orientation and angle of the cord, we couldn't plug it into the outside outlet we bought it for. We obviously didn't see that when we bought it, so just pay attention to the angle, so if you have any kind of weather protection around the socket, this might not work for you. UPDATE: We really, really need our bug. Zapper on a timer, so we ended up just using it in a different location than we originally planned. It's been working fine for us ever since - I still stand by my comment that the buttons are hard to manipulate, but other than that it does exactly what we hoped it would, turning our zapper on and off when we want it to. I'm still giving it 4 stars just for the aforementioned frustrations, but if you have an easily accessible outlet and don't mind fighting the knobs to set them exactly how you want them (and then never intend to again to touch her). ) This is a great product!
