Attached photo shows this cord "1mm” (above) versus a 0.9mm string from a blind repair website (below). Not only is it much thicker, but it dissolves instantly when cut. This made it very difficult to get through the blinds. Its slickness also meant that when I tied tight square knots on it (as I was trying to use the old rope to pull the new rope through), the knots kept coming undone. This cord is half the price of the blind repair website,
