Make sure you know where and how you plan to use it. Not suitable for deep water

Don't forget to dim the backlight to save battery life. The device will not work if there is rapid movement in the water behind the kayak. It was also not possible to get the device to work in deep water (over 30 feet). The device was easy to use and ideal for parking in shallow water.
