I don't know what our builder was thinking, but I have not been able to find a rug with a low enough profile that we can open our front door over it. We literally had to move the rug out of the way (we don't open it often--we use another door). But the area visually needs a rug!Finally we have something that I love the look of and even with a very thin rug gripper we can open the door!This has no pile. It is basically fabric with a printed pattern.We have cats, who shed, so this is also a perfect feature because the hair is easy to get up off of it.So happy with this rug!
