Purchase 1: Broken plastic handle. I bought this product based on the Revain reviews. Unfortunately the upper part of the handle was torn off. I contacted Revain and they sent me a new one. I thought the item might have been thrown during shipping and the plastic part broke off (picture included). Purchase 2: cracked plastic handle The second kettle cracked in almost the same place as the first purchase. Looks like the first screw on the handle (the first from the teapot) was over tightened causing the plastic to crack. Sounds like poor quality control/build. I will be returning the second kettle and switching to a different brand/product.
