I am very picky about my coffee makers and took a chance with this brand. That's not the one I recognized. I've seen good reviews (not that they can be trusted any more on Revain, but that's another story!) I can tell you I actually bought and owned this maker. It brews quickly and the coffee comes out hot, eliminating the need to reheat it when adding cream. It has no plastic aftertaste and I love that it has NO horn. Come on folks, you see, when the pot is full, it's done. Who needs a beeper to wake up a family? The carafe is constructed in such a way that it does not drip when pouring. The only wish is that the cover is removed and not only folded back, but only for cleaning. It is excellent. We didn't use any of the timer features so can't speak to them, but for us this is a great coffee maker.
