it was very sticky, more liquid than solid. reminded me of a very thick joico spiker. It has really good control and lots of styling time without being sticky. If you are looking for tone, go for grey. I actually like this stuff because you get really good control and it doesn't dry out or leave white flaky spots. You can make it wet or dry. The downside is that it's very oily and needs a little cleaning. also not a fan of heavily scented hair products, especially girly scented items. they have to sell large volume packages.
