If you buy this on a company budget - do it if you buy private - it's not worth the price. Like a speakerphone for one person or maybe 3 or 4 - excellent. I can't imagine how it could be better. For larger groups - this works depending on how you sit at the table, maybe 5 or 6 people; more people and you need a second device or a larger model. Playing music is fine as long as you understand its limitations. You can't argue with the laws of physics ;-) Its shape is flat, so the low-mid frequencies and bass are clearly not enough, but the equalizer can correct this to a certain extent (because it will be very helpful). Using it as a podcast/spoken word speaker is no problem, more than enough. It will surely fill a hotel room. If you want to use it as an alternative to a small bluetooth speaker - don't buy it, a cheaper small bluetooth speaker sounds better. If you need a speakerphone for a small number of people, this should be the best phone. A wonderful little thing. Really well thought out, no connection problems, very easy to use and ingenious design - it really doesn't get any better than this. This is a gadget for those who spend the company's budget, make a lot of calls and stay in hotel rooms. Perfect toy in this case :-) Hopefully this review gives some perspective - I haven't seen any other reviews online since April 2017, I guess because the device is so new.
