My initial BB rating is that it will be really good and after only a few hundred miles I'm sticking with it. I installed it on my Salsa Warbird gravel bike. I love that they snap together for an interference fit. It seems to me that the alignment will be preserved and it will be a little forgiving with the caret shell, which can be a little wrong in production. He needs his own instrument. It is not compatible with Shimano regarding the tool.
