Due to the price and my previous positive experience with carbonized bamboo needles, I ordered a second set of these needles the same day I received the first set. However, after actually using them, I am very disappointed with the poor quality. Tapered ends are unsealed and rough. They get caught in the yarn while knitting, making them completely useless. If the tapered sections were lined with clear sealant to line them up with the middle sections (which were sealed) they could be used, but who has time for that? These needles are defective. I do not recommend them at all. The tips of these needles are not smooth or sealed like the middle sections. ===================•============================== ================================================== ================================================== = We were in the process of sending them back when we decided to order a clear spray paint to apply to glasses. This has greatly doubled the cost of these needles, but hopefully they will be usable. We are still dissatisfied, because the seller should have taken care of that.
