I bought this dual blade Kyocera knife to add to my collection of kitchen tools. I'm a big fan of Kyocera ceramic knives and cleaners and have an old single blade model of this cleaner (this newer model has two blades). When testing this new peeler on carrots, I realized that the dual blades didn't peel as well as the old single blade model. This is because the two blades are quite close together, which limits the "angle of attack" at which you can effectively peel fruit and vegetables. Peeling dough carrots - a simple and easy task with my old Kyocera peeler - has become much more time-consuming and tedious than it should have been. Avoid this and look for a single blade model if you can find one.
