easy to use and clean

I love that carrots don't discolor with this ceramic peeler. Very well peeled in different strengths. Love the sleek design and color, very easy to clean under the blade with enough room. I really like using this scrub.

  • I look forward to
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Surprised By It - Kitchen Utensils And Gadgets

Who hasn't peeled potatoes with one of the old steel versions? I was surprised how much spicier it was (be careful). Now I peel apples, pears, carrots etc. with joy and ease and not just potatoes. It works.

Pros
  • Easy To Use
Cons
  • No Machine

POOR ergonomics despite looks

Too big for most people to hold comfortably and the shape is totally wrong. The body of the pen should be thin in the cutting direction, not such a tall square shape that is difficult to hold while pulling the apple from the side. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Superb peeler

Superb peeler! It's similar to my swedish scissors, with the advantage that it has a light, sharp ceramic blade. However, it doesn't have a sharp, pointed end, making it much easier and faster to remove potato stains and eyes with Linden potato peelers. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found this helpful.

Good quality but too expensive for the price

Easy to use and hold in hand. I ordered it thinking it would give me thin strips and also peel veg and fruit. But the blade is not sharp at all and requires a lot of pressure to clean it. In comparison, my serrated knife can easily clean everything. I don't like Y-scissors, although I've tried very hard to get used to them. I ordered it because I like Kyocera knives so I thought it would be a good quality product. nope This item was a waste of money.

Unbeatable - Kitchen Tools & Gadgets

Best Cleaning Knife. Never dull, first cuts thinner, then thicker. All my friends use it. Obviously highly recommended. I've been looking for the perfect scrub for years and here it is. Don't get a slingshot that pulls you towards you; there is no comparison. Update: Still works great after 10 years but shows signs of wear. I can't understand why they don't just sell the black separately, I don't need a knife, and assembling it is a stupid idea. I'll try the double edge but want plain old…

Excellent kitchen and dining room peeler

I was looking for a replacement for an aging peeler I had for 10-15 years. The steel blades showed their age and began to rust. I prefer vertical cleaners and I "think" they are less accident prone, at least for me. I've recently tried options from brands I like (like OXO) but was disappointed with their performance (weak and superficial cleaner). .After purchasing ceramic knives from Kyocera last year, I decided to try this cleaning knife and I'm glad I did. It has a nice strong rind, quite…

Disappointing compared to old model

I bought this dual blade Kyocera knife to add to my collection of kitchen tools. I'm a big fan of Kyocera ceramic knives and cleaners and have an old single blade model of this cleaner (this newer model has two blades). When testing this new peeler on carrots, I realized that the dual blades didn't peel as well as the old single blade model. This is because the two blades are quite close together, which limits the "angle of attack" at which you can effectively peel fruit and vegetables. Peeling

Not so good for the kitchen and dining room

My first ceramic cleaner was a Y-shaped cleaner and it was a cheap Yoshi I bought at the Dollar Store. I loved this thing. He was dangerous as hell, he had no scabbard or hook to hang him. Somehow I managed to lose it. Whether it's been in motion or after - I tend to after I think I've lost it because I probably wrapped so much protective case that it got thrown away. So I looked for another ceramic cleaner. I bought a very nice set of ceramic knives that came with a Y blade but I was very…
