Not so good for the kitchen and dining room

My first ceramic cleaner was a Y-shaped cleaner and it was a cheap Yoshi I bought at the Dollar Store. I loved this thing. He was dangerous as hell, he had no scabbard or hook to hang him. Somehow I managed to lose it. Whether it's been in motion or after - I tend to after I think I've lost it because I probably wrapped so much protective case that it got thrown away. So I looked for another ceramic cleaner. I bought a very nice set of ceramic knives that came with a Y blade but I was very disappointed with this knife. A very nervous, tight look of the whorl. I then went in search of another type and settled on Kyocera because they seem to be a premium ceramic brand. I'm really shocked at how sharp this thing is. I haven't tried cleaning my finger to prove it, but it doesn't seem sharp. You really have to work properly with potatoes or cucumbers. I know it's a different style than the Y peeler. It seems really STUPID. Somehow more boring than my traditional oxo vertical knife of the same style. I wouldn't use this over Oxo. I have to say that the eye remover is nice when you're working with potatoes, it works well and feels good in the hand. But I can't get over the fact that it doesn't feel like a sharp ceramic edge and I expected more from a premium ceramic manufacturer.
