Okay, I remember how much it costs. But at the same time, I acknowledge the fact that Dyson parts are ridiculously overpriced compared to what you get. the replacement was a Purple Dyson DC-07. The end that matches the handle and the attachments fit easily. (so far) The end that attaches and snaps to the vacuum itself, the clip that should snap when vacuuming is the wrong shape. If you pull out the bottom of the hose you will see that the front end of the clamp should fit into the groove. The clamp on them is oversized by almost a full mm in diameter. It's also about 1/2mm narrower in width. I used a dremel and had to slowly smooth it out until it fit. The wire in the hose also appears to be twisted. The hose is constantly trying to take on all sorts of weird shapes when stretched. And yes, we tried to unwind and straighten it out. relax and switch off a little. If you're looking for a direct plug and play replacement, stay away from this one. Some small changes need to be made.
