Dyson DC07 Aftermarket Vacuum Purple: Powerful Cleaning at an Unbeatable Value Review

It works as well as you would expect from a non-genuine part. Definitely not as purple as the original, but that doesn't affect the suction power, right? Nozzles are well snapped at both ends. This replacement hose has no disadvantages.

The outer packaging said it was a suitable replacement part for my vacuum cleaner but the inside was not as pictured and did not fit. I have returned the item for a refund as ordering again would likely return the wrong part.

Bought this hose last March with a promise it would be the same as the original Dyson hose. Not true! The diameter of the tip barely matches the size of the metal extension tube, making it very difficult to separate and reassemble. Also, the lock button doesn't work properly. As some other reviews have noted the purple color of the plastic is a bit darker than the actual Dyson vacuum. It doesn't bother me at all. The only issue I have with the hose is that when you attach the hose handle to this hose (to use a hose extension instead of the normal vacuum configuration) the hose doesn't snap onto the handle very well. The color is slightly different from the original. I was a little apprehensive when I first received this. The part that connects to the bottom of the vacuum didn't slide in easily, and the plastic felt a bit more brittle than the original.
