product works great. Anyone who has the right Mazda should buy this great value upgrade. There are almost no installation instructions, but there are many videos on YouTube showing how to install on each model. I updated the software myself instead of going to the dealer. It was a bit of a chore, but not particularly difficult if you're computer savvy and can follow the online instructions. Just make sure your car battery doesn't drain during the lengthy update installation process. Installing the hardware on our 2018 CX-5 was surprisingly easy. I was concerned about running cables but it was easy. The hardware portion of the installation took less than an hour. Total installation time was approximately 3 hours including software, with most of the time being downtime during software updates.
