Very happy with the AC plug in a standard 3 pin socket. It only takes a few seconds to inflate my road bike tires from 40psi to 80psi. It's a bit noisy - maybe shredder level, so not unbearable. The included carry case is very roomy so loose cords and wires aren't a problem compared to some cases that are too tight. One thing that wasn't intuitive to me was that the orange AC and DC buttons are used to turn the pump on and off. I was expecting more of a switch.
