Two of my vehicles have been outfitted with these tires, so I have expertise with them. I would give the performance of the tires on asphalt a score of five out of ten because it is possible to maintain virtually the same pace as when using summer tires. When compared to Nordic friction winter tires, which typically have substantially smoother reactions, the steering responses are noticeably more precise and quicker. This is a significant difference between the two types of tires. A four out of ten for the rubber's performance on slick surfaces. At one point, I was traveling at a rather high speed when I was forced to apply the brakes on the track in the shape of a gentle arc in front of a car that had abruptly stopped in the left lane. The snow was scattered on the tarmac that was under the wheels. Because of the crunch of the ABS, the automobile slowed down for two hundred to three hundred meters, but the steering wheel kept it well under control, and as a consequence, a sudden barrier was safely navigated around. The second time around, they were already walking on freshly compacted snow and were also on the track. It was his wife who was driving, and she too went in a smooth arc, but slightly faster than she ought to have been going. At some point, a significant chunk of ice broke off of the vehicle that was traveling in front of us in the right lane and landed in the left lane, where we were moving. The husband's wife attempted to go past him, but she started to wind in the corridor between the bump stop on the left and the approaching truck on the right despite her best efforts. After closing the gap between us and the truck's trailer, which was probably between fifty and one hundred meters, the oscillations ceased. The automobile continued to respond to the steering wheel in both scenarios, the reactions remained smooth, and the slides developed smoothly; the tires functioned well in this regard. The tires on my car were wonderfully quiet for the first year that I had them, but by the end of the second year, they were making a lot of humming noise, so I sold them before the end of the second season. It is now the second winter that the tires have been used on the vehicle that belongs to the wife, and so far there does not appear to be any noise: it is possible that the manufacturer has made adjustments to the design or composition of the tire combination. A normal Hong Kongeability can be expected as a result of the directional layout. About one millimeter of wear occurred after 15 thousand cycles. Overall, I would give these tires a rating of four stars and suggest them to people who live in large cities or drive on roads made of clean asphalt and are ready to tolerate the possibility of increased road noise after the first year of use.
