I hope this review helps others as I get very confused when trying to find a replacement filter for my Dirt Devil Simpli Stick. My model is SD20000Red. When I first opened the package I thought this was in no way suitable, but then I realized it was meant to replace ALL 2 pieces of the original filter that it came with. It originally had a gray plastic piece with small holes that was first placed in a vacuum cleaner and then a white cloth filter was placed inside. This new filter replaces BOTH and I like it a lot better! I really believe that with this new filter, my vacuum cleaner had more suction than when I first bought it. I use it a few times a week on my two rugs and a small bath rug. As for the people writing bad reviews about this vacuum cleaner - that's really all it's supposed to be. If you have a home/office full of rugs this is not for you. Also, the problem is not suitable for places with heavy traffic. But for my use I like this little vacuum cleaner. I empty the main vacuum, remove the main dirt from the filter and wash it out. My first filter lasted about 6 months but I have a feeling the new one will last a little longer so we'll see. I've added photos of my vacuum cleaner, an old two-piece filter, and then a new replacement filter. The new filter is rinsed after a single use. Hope that helps!
