Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Fill-Rite S100H1315 1-Inch Multi-Plane Swivel with Enhanced SEO by Tony Guernsey

The new suction hoses work better than the ones that came with the pumps.

I bought 13 GPM Phyllite pumps and they came with PVC suction hoses held together with PVC glue. Well both pumps failed the same way when I was on a 1500 mile vacation trip this June. It turned out that the glue does not last long. So I replaced them on both pumps with a steel pump similar to the one on my 15 gpm phyllite pump. I determine how close the tanks I fill are by calculating a pump speed of 13 GPM. I got two streams of diesel because they don't get anywhere near 13 gpm or even 15 gpm like my original one with this new tube. Both pumps are moving fuel and are approaching 20 GPM. The difference between my original suction jet and the new ones is that there are two slotted holes at the bottom instead of a slotted port to draw fuel from the side of the tube. Much more fuel can be drawn in through these two windows at the same time. In the description they are rated for all Fillrite pumps up to 20gpm but I never would have guessed that the only difference between the 13gpm / 15gpm / 20gpm pumps is the suction tube. I think now I can justify the shut-off nozzle on each pump's hose by saving time. It was worth buying diesel to get such improved performance. I avoided clipped tips because they cost $60 each, and reviews warned me against buying unbranded ones because they don't work well.

Pros

Cons
  • Not bad but...
