I've used Carons Simply Soft 'Sunset' yarn on another project and although it doesn't quite look like my favorite yarn the tone of the color was lovely so I bought it again here. Of course, the color batches can differ, but I did not expect such a difference! The yarn I originally bought was shades of red and brown, ideal for muted colors for Christmas crochet projects. There was no trace of red in this yarn, lots of oranges and everything else brown - MUCH different! I would use it for some fall/halloween projects. I still had the tags from my original purchase and THIS yarn was made in a different country which might explain the completely different colourway. It's still a good yarn but I would never buy that shade.
