Unfortunately, it did not work for my 11 yr old son. He had it for only one week.Right out of the box one of the battery lights would blink red and the hoverboard beeped consistently.I thought maybe it needed to be calibrated so we calibrated it countless times. It charged over night and he tried it again. It didn't fix the problem. I thought it may be because we were helping him learn inside the house. I carried it outside for him (he could barely carry it because it was quite heavy.) and tried riding it.I was holding on to him to help him balance and it took off. IN CIRCLES! It would not go forward only in circles. He jumped off and it rolled into the gutter and hit the curb. One wheel was flush against the plastic frame and did not turn well, it was pretty scuffed up, and it's safe to say he may never try one out again.I am giving this 2 stars because I emailed the manufacturer the first time when it did not work and they were quick to respond. The second time I emailed them; again. they were quick to respond and offer a refund or replacement. Their customer service is great!
