Warning: I purchased this with moderate expectations as other posters have given a glimpse of product usability. Bought this for my Sun Conure as his previous water bowl became a simple tool for dumping water on the ground. This dish looked strong and from the description it met my needs. Upon arrival it was easy to install and seemed to like it. However, when I unscrewed it for the first time to clean and refill it, I noticed the poor workmanship. The bracket where the bowl meets the holder came loose and broke completely 3 days after purchase. The bowl now sits at the bottom of the cage and has practically become a trash can. It still works in its own way, which is why I gave it a 3 star rating.
