I used them on a meat and vegetable fondue cooked in peanut butter in an electric fondue pot. The fork end of these forks had tines long enough to hold the food being cooked on, while some other implements with shorter tines allow the food to fall off the end easily. The handles stay cool so hands don't burn. The Teflon portion is large and brightly colored, while many fondue forks only have a small colored dot on the end so it's easy to see whose fork is in the pot and not get mixed up.
