My toddler plays with water in kindergarten and I was looking for non-slip water shoes. He loves the color red so I ordered it. Kids don't like bulky water shoes, but he likes that they fit like socks and fit snugly around his feet. They also protect against sand on the beach. Because they look like socks, they are easy to walk on sometimes "hot" sand. They are very easy to wash. Sometimes the sole comes out, but that's easy to fix. We live in California and are in the water and on the beach a lot so I'm buying them for two summers now. I will buy it again when summer comes. They have a pulley on the heel so they can easily help you with the kids. The sock has a thicker material to prevent the sock from tearing. The material stretches for those plump legs!
