For the price (<$20), they're hard to beat. Grip on palms is excellent and firmer than most I've tried. I use them for warm weather rides and apart from the lack of a palm slider they are perfect. I doubt they offer much protection in a crash, but better than nothing. I have small hands for a man and depending on the brand I usually wear small or medium, but sometimes I have to wear large when the palms are too tight, ie the fingers are too long. The middle pair of these gloves fit me perfectly including the fingers which seem to be the trickiest part on cheap gloves. They were a little awkward to put on at first due to my large ankles/hands, but they were very comfortable and should fit most small to medium sized hands well (unless you have long fingers). doesn't bother me enough to shorten it, which would be an option. It just takes some getting used to as the strap ends further around my wrist than most gloves.
